Venue · Virgin Hotels New York City, NoMad
Event production at Virgin Hotels New York.
A newly renovated 7,000 sq ft event floor on Broadway in NoMad — raw ceiling, hard surfaces, and a full wall of glass. It photographs beautifully and it is unforgiving of lazy AV. We have built a head-of-state conference in it.
The Croatia–USA Business Forum, September 2026 · 16′ × 10′ LED wall, conference audio, and front of house in the room
A glass room,
built for video.
The event space runs along a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. That is the room's best feature and its hardest technical fact: an afternoon program fights side light that would wash a projected image to grey. We specify a bright, high-resolution LED wall instead, ground-supported and raised on stage decking so it clears a seated audience — contrast that holds at 3pm without blacking out the view.
The ceiling is exposed structure and the surfaces are hard, so speech needs real tuning rather than a pair of sticks and hope. We bring a conference system voiced for intelligibility, coordinate wireless across lectern, panel, and press positions, and keep front of house in the room where the mix can actually be heard.
Most recently we produced the Croatia–USA Business Forum here — a keynote and fireside chat by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia in front of 100+ Croatian and American companies, with a press pool working the room.
What we bring to Virgin Hotels New York
Planning here — common questions
Have you produced at Virgin Hotels New York City?
Yes — most recently the Croatia–USA Business Forum in the 7,000 sq ft event space, with a keynote by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia. We handle venue coordination, load-in windows, power, rigging limits, and the certificate of insurance the hotel requires.
How big an LED wall fits the room?
We have installed a 16′ × 10′ high-resolution wall there, ground-supported on a 16′ × 8′ stage deck so the image clears a seated audience from the back row. Bigger and smaller both work — the right size follows your seating plan and where the room is split.
Does the daylight cause problems?
It is the single thing to design around. The windows run the length of the space, so a daytime program would defeat projection. LED holds its contrast through the afternoon without asking you to black out the best wall in the room.
What do you supply, and how fast is a proposal?
LED walls, staging, conference audio and microphones, lighting, playback and show operation, pipe and drape, press step-and-repeat, and DJ or MC for receptions — one scope, one named producer. Send a date and a draft run of show and you'll have a line-item proposal within three business days.
